“Go for decel, everything is squared away. “
“Firing aft thruster to bring main engines around.”
“Woah, let’s try to keep this under 2g please.”
“Apologies, I will keep future maneuvers beneath 5g, closer to 2g where possible.”
“Much appreciated, main engine is ready for reverse thrust.”
“Agreed, raising thrust to 1%”
“Man that kicks, oof!”
“I will raise the thrust slowly, you should be able to move around without trouble now.”
“Oh hey this actually feels more like Ranyor gravity haha!”
“Correct, 0.7g, Ranyor’s surface gravity acceleration is roughly 0.75g.”
“I’m heading back to Icarus, almost finished with the freeze drying modification.”
“I will begin to scan for debris and other threats that may share the LPO.”
“Hey Pax, I think we missed something, how am I guiding Icarus through an unfamiliar atmosphere?”
“Carefully.”
“… I think you have far too much faith in me, but thanks bud.”
“You are the most likely to succeed in landing the Icarus, I have yet to understand the human attribute of faith.”
